Founded by Chris, a lifelong cat enthusiast with a discerning eye for quality, SILVA NIX was born from a passion to elevate the standards of British Shorthair and British Longhair breeding in Australia — following our relocation from Seattle, USA.

At SILVA NIX, we specialise exclusively in the most exquisite Golden Point, Golden Shaded, and Silver Point British Shorthair (BSH) and British Longhair (BLH) cats. We take great pride in our focus — we do not breed blue or orange cats, allowing us to refine and perfect these luminous golden and silver hues that embody sophistication and charm.

Each of our breeding cats descends from champion North American bloodlines, chosen for their outstanding conformation, gentle temperament, and captivating beauty. Every pairing is thoughtfully planned to preserve the breed’s finest traits while enriching their colour depth, structure, and personality.
